Part of the global Manitowoc Food-service group, Merrychef is a world leader in designing, manufacturing and supplying accelerated cooking systems to the catering industry, with customers such as Subway, Marks & Spencer, Punch Pubs and ASDA.

With manufacturing based in the UK the Merrychef production facility is a complete sheet steel to finished product fabrication plant. The Merrychef product range falls into two distinct product categories: commercial accelerated cooking ovens and commercial high-power microwave ovens.

As Product Manager my role was to establish product management best practices within the company and to support the introduction and roll out of the new eikon range of accelerated cooking ovens. While at Merrychef I developed and wrote the complete Life-cycle Management documentation for the company's ISO9000 Quality Manage System, ensuring that the processes and procedures dovetailed with the group policies and processes. Today these procedures are used throughout the Merrychef organisation to managed and maintain their range of existing and new products.
